Rob didn’t grow up in church and wasn’t saved until the age of 30. Five years into his walk with Jesus, he left his career as a police officer to pursue God’s call to ministry. This journey led him to attend both Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Moody Graduate School where he earned a Master’s of Ministry degree.
Rob has served in multiple staff roles within several churches since 2003, as well as military, police and civilian workplace chaplain roles. Rob has been married to his best friend Kenna since 1991 and has been blessed with one son and three beautiful daughters. The Troutmans enjoy all things “family” especially camping, exploring, shooting and a good movie.
Rob became the Lead Pastor of RADIANT, then known as NORTHSIDE Christian Fellowship, in January 2020.
